Mosaic del Sur factory, 1 acre, 150 employees, 6000 cement tiles/day
The business started with the acquisition of various pieces of machinery for making cement tiles, and tools dating from 1920 to 1960 from the Seville region.
Today the factory, with almost one acre in size, employs 150 people, including 70 skilled technicians (who hand-operate the machines, filling the moulds with colored cement and assuring the quality of the pressing and turning-out of the cement tiles), as well as 12 packing controllers. We use the same manufacturing techniques as the best European workshops of 1900-1930, while incorporating the latest progresses in cement and concrete technology: colors laboratory, mechanically controlled cements mix, special concrete additives to improve and harden the tiles.

Mosaic del Sur takes great care managing your orders, we use a “handle with care” attitude. Cement tiles are separated by layers of foam, and packed in high quality cardboard boxes. They are then packed onto strong palettes which are wrapped in plastic and fitted with corner protectors to guarantee safe delivery.
